We document how AI platforms extract human judgment without explicit consent or compensation. We propose a framework for cognitive ownership, combining technical, legal, and economic dimensions. The question is not whether human judgment has value—it clearly does. The question is: who captures that value, and will the humans who produce it be compensated?
